In 1992, World Spec Testing Services Canada Ltd. was incorporated, and began operating in Saskatchewan as a small full-service NDT company.  As we grew, so did our expertise in quality services to our clients.  We expanded beyond just NDT, into consulting, asset management, and NDT training.  In 2005, we founded www.worldspec.org which was, at the time, the only online NDT training offering in the world.  The training side of the business grew beyond our expectations, and in 2013 we sold the business to Acuren's sister company, Hellier NDT Training.

We kept the other entities excluding the training, and rebranded as Ray NDT Services Ltd. Since 2013 we have repositioned our service offerings to 3 locations in BC: Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria.
